Have you ever experienced walking on a beach with sea turtles? Let's go!

Our field team carry out daily patrols, both morning and night, to collect population data on nesting females and their nests. Join us on one of our immersive and educational conservation tours to learn more about our work, and of course have the opportunity to see nesting female sea turtles or hatchlings! With over 7,000 new nests every season, our beaches are the busiest on the Osa Peninsula! See more information on the best times of year to see nesting below!

MORNING TOUR

Take a walk on the nearby sea turtle nesting beaches at sunrise to look for newly laid nests, turtle tracks and hatching turtles! Take a tour of our sea turtle hatchery before heading back to our base camp.

$40 per person

NIGHT TOUR

Take a walk out on to the beach at night to try and see female turtles coming out of the ocean to lay their eggs! A once in a lifetime experience that you will never forget.

$40 per person

VIP TOUR

The best of both tours!! Enjoy a night tour followed by an overnight stay in Finca Exotica. Complete the experience with a morning tour of the beach and hatchery.

$150 per person

*Children 12 years and under go free with a paying adult (except VIP Tour).

We see two different species mainly on our beaches (Olive Ridley and Pacific green), and they have distinct nesting seasons which means we see good nesting and hatching activity most of the year.
